PNAMP brings together people and resources to conduct projects focused on the needs of the aquatic monitoring community. Projects may focus on examining an issue, the development of tools to aid in monitoring, or aiding the developing of mutual business practices for better monitoring. These project collaborations often involve ad-hoc working groups, working sometimes in conjunction with a project contractor, and facilitated by a PNAMP staff lead. Project results may include sponsored events, publications, web-based tools, agreements on science standards, and establishment of regional data sharing business practices for regional aquatic monitoring.
