Invasive Species & Restoration Project Manager

The Coos Watershed Association (CoosWA) is seeking a dynamic, creative, entrepreneurial manager to lead its restoration efforts to restore salmon and improve water quality in the Coos watershed. The CoosWAis a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1994, with an annual budget of approximately $1,500,000 for assessment, restoration projects, and monitoring in the 610-square-mile watershed.

Position Description

The Invasive Species & Restoration Project Manager will work with public and private landowners to develop restoration projects, write grant proposals, implement restoration projects, supervise restoration crews, manage contracts, and implement a robust invasive species control project. The Restoration Project Manager will promote and maintain positive relationships with private landowners, public agencies, conservation organizations, foundations, and local, state, and federal government agencies while working closely with the Executive Director to achieve CoosWA restoration goals.
