The deadline for submitting abstracts is January 8th, 2016

We invite you to present a paper or poster at the upcoming Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society annual meeting, March 8 -10, 2016 at The Coeur d’ Alene Resort, Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. The meeting theme is “Horizontal and Vertical Transmission of Fish Related Information.”

Three continuing education workshops well be held on March 7th.

A special symposium on supplementation program results and management recommendations will be held on March 9 and 10th and will include “A Commemoration of the Idaho Supplementation Studies.”

Instructions for submitting abstracts:

· Use a brief but descriptive title, avoiding acronyms or scientific names unless the common name is not widely known. Limit the title to 150 characters or less;

· Capitalize all words in the title except articles, conjunctions, and prepositions;

· Identify the author (presenter) and his/her affiliation and contact information. List the name as you would like it to appear in the meeting program;

· List the names and affiliations of co-authors (limit is 4);

· Summarize your findings in 350 words or less.

Students are encouraged to submit abstracts and compete for a “best presentation” and “best poster” awards of $250 each, to be given to the student who presents the best paper/poster. If you are a student and would like to be considered for the best oral presentation or best poster, be sure to click the appropriate boxes when submitting your abstract.
