Idaho Chapter of AFS Calls for Workshop Proposals

The Executive Committee has recently formed a new Continuing Education Committee, whose mission is to “promote the development of fisheries professionals through organization and production of workshops.” We are reaching out to you to solicit ideas for workshops to be held at upcoming annual chapter meetings. Is there a training or professional development course you think would be of benefit to you and your fellow members? Do you have a workshop or short course you would like to teach to interested membership? Send us your ideas and proposals. The ICAFS annual meetings can generally support 1-3 successful workshops per meeting. We will collect your ideas and do our very best to facilitate them if there is likely to be sufficient interest to support a successful workshop.

Send workshop ideas and proposals to Matt Corsi, Continuing Education Committee Chair, matthew.corsi@idfg.idaho.gov, 208-799-5010

If you have interest in joining this new committee and helping to organize and produce continuing education training opportunities for chapter membership, please contact Matt!
