Washington State Municipal Stormwater Conference

November 5th And 6th, Puyallup, Washington

The Washington Stormwater Center—in partnership with the City of Puyallup and the Department of Ecology—is pleased to announce the inaugural Washington State Municipal Stormwater Conference.

This unique conference will focus specifically on addressing high-priority issues and challenges
faced by municipal NPDES permittees statewide.

Conference planning and logistics are being finalized and a request for abstracts will be issued soon. See below for an overview of what to expect, and stay tuned for a conference website announcement coming soon.

  • Conference will include, training, local tours, presentations, and panel discussions by fellow permittees and regional experts on issues affected permittees statewide
  • The conference was created for NPDES permittees, but is open to all stormwater-related professionals Attendance fees will be established this spring, and posted to the conference website.
  • Fees for NPDES Permittees are expected to be less than $30, and are to cover food and refreshments. Other rates may be offered to government agencies, non-profits, and presenters Hotel blocks have been set up at nearby hotels and will offer the state government per diem rate (details to follow this spring)
  • Social events are planned for early on Day 1, November 5th
  • Sponsorships opportunities will be offered, but limited
