Backpack Electrofishing Training

The Northwest Environmental Training Center is offering a 3-day course, “Backpack Electrofishing: Principles and Practices”, during May 13-15, 2014, in Bellevue, Washington.

This course combines classroom activities with field trip exercises to give attendees the knowledge and basic experience they will need to use backpack electrofishing equipment safely and effectively. A completion certificate is awarded to all those who attend the entire course. This course meets the National Marine Fisheries Service training requirements for electrofishing field staff who encounter fish species listed under the authority of the Endangered Species Act.
