The Department of Fish and Wildlife is recruiting to fill one full time, project, Fish & Wildlife Biologist 3 position located in the Habitat Program, Region 2. The duty station for this position is the Region 2, Methow Wildlife Area Office, Winthrop, WA, Okanogan County The project is scheduled to start December 1, 2013 and last until June 30, 2015, with a possible extension of 6 to 12 months.

This position reports to the Regional Habitat Program Manager. The purpose of this position is two-fold: to
ensure strong intra-programmatic and regional/headquarters coordination on restoration projects occurring on
WDFW lands in the Upper Columbia; and to ensure that each step of the Restoration Pathway or Yakama
Nation/WDFW MOU Regarding Fish Enhancement Projects on WDFW Property is completed in a timely
manner. Successful implementation of the position’s essential functions will contribute to the conservation and protection of native fish and wildlife in accordance with Conservation Initiative Principles by increasing WDFW’s leadership and participation in conducting BPA- funded restoration activities on WDFW lands in the Upper Columbia basin.
