A job announcement for a permanent GS 9/11 Fish Bio position located in Twisp, WA working for the Mid-Columbia River Fishery Resource Office (FRO). The candidate would be the lead evaluation biologist for the hatchery programs at Winthrop NFH. This announcement closes on Oct 16.

Both the steelhead and spring Chinook programs at Winthrop are programs intended to recover ESA listed populations in the Methow River. This position will entail equal amounts of research, field work, and hatchery sampling working with staff at the hatchery, and the FRO as well as collaborative efforts with staff from WDFW, the Yakama Nation, Colville tribes, USGS, and NMFS.
