The Regional Data Coordinator will be responsible for making data in the Okanogan Basin Monitoring and Evaluation Program’s SQL Server 2008 database widely accessible to a number of agencies in the Columbia River Basin. Represent the Colville Tribes as a technical representative in BPA or NPCC supported priority data management work groups such as the coordinated assessment and PNAMP data Management leadership team. The incumbent will work with the OBMEP Data Analyst and private consultants to provide technical support for the OBMEP database environment to enable data sharing through data exchange templates and scripted processes. This may also require refactoring some attributes and restructuring tables and relationships or supporting server technology and .NET solutions. Regular duties will include building queries and developing outputs of OBMEP data that can be imported into other various regional data systems (i.e. NOAA’s Status, Trends, and Effectiveness Monitoring Databank). The incumbent will also develop or improve existing ASP.NET web and desktop interfaces, dashboards, graphs, and reports that will allow OBMEP staff, various agencies, and (for some data types) the general public to download, interact with, and/or report on OBMEP data. The incumbent may develop reports using SSRS, MS Excel, and Pivot tables, and will assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of database operations. developed tools and regional data structures to improve their knowledge related to the recovery of anadromous fish.
