Training for conducting SCUBA searches for invasive mussels in Hood River, OR

Interested parties in the Pacific Northwest region are concerned that invasive mussels may become introduced into local waterways. To be prepared in the event of an infestation, Noah Adams, a USGS Dive Master and member of the Local Dive Rescue team, will be holding a training event to familiarize divers with the procedures for searching for and collecting the mussels.
