The Director will help the Conservancy implement a plan to restore salmon populations in priority watersheds across California and the Pacific. S/He will be responsible, in part, for linking existing efforts within the Conservancy to remove threats to salmon populations at each stage of their lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has directed a regional conservation initiative, ideally in California and in the fields of marine/freshwater fishery or water conservation. The successful candidate will be strategic and politically savvy and able to facilitate a coordinated effort around salmon conservation. The Director will ideally be located in the Conservancy’s San Francisco office.
