New OBMEP Website Available

A new Okanogan Basin Monitoring and Evaluation Website has been created. You can find the new site here: http://cctobmep.com.

The Okanogan Basin Monitoring and Evaluation Program (OBMEP) is a monitoring program created in 2004 that collects long-term data on summer steelhead and spring Chinook salmon in the Okanogan River Basin.

The four primary goals of OBMEP are:

To establish the current status of anadromous fish habitats and fish populations.
To establish how the status is changing over time.
To establish what effects restoration actions are having on fish populations and habitat conditions.
To establish what effects fishery management actions are having on fish populations.
OBMEP is a program within the Confederated Colville Tribes' Fish and Wildlife Department and is funded primarily by the Bonneville Power Administration through the Columbia Basin Fish Accords.
