April 20 9-10 am (Pacific) – Map Viewer - An Introduction
Monitoring Explorer map is an online map viewer tool designed for users to explore monitoring sample locations. Monitoring Explorer is integrated with all tools to display in one centralized map who is collecting what, when, where, and how. The map viewer is populated with regional GIS layers, data collection locations and associated metadata. Search capability is built into the viewer so you can search for data collection locations based on a variety of criteria. This webinar will show the available information and the search capacity of the tool.

We invite you to join PNAMP on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 9am (Pacific) for a series of webinars focused on the web tools. is designed to assist practitioners in documenting how, when, where, and why data are collected. With standard documentation, practitioners will be able to enter data once then easily update and share. Colleagues and practitioners in the region can access and learn from others. This toolset can also link to other information systems (e.g., project tracking systems, databases, metadata repositories) for automatic updating. Funders and managers can review existing and proposed work to better understand gaps and overlaps in a given spatial extent.

The general format will be a 15 minute overview of tools, 30 minutes delving into the specific tool, and 15 minutes of open discussion. Upon request PNAMP staff will provide additional one-on-one training sessions for interested users. Questions, comments, or to schedule a training please contact the PNAMP team,
