Join the Institute of Applied Ecology for Natural Areas Celebration Week

Natural Areas Celebration Week is coming up! There are great activities planned around Corvallis through the Sustainability Coalition, and they hope you can join Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE) staff for a personal tour at their favorite restoration sites. Join them at one of their three events!

Sunday, May 6, 2-4 pm - Golden Paintbrush Tour, Finley Wildlife Refuge
Guide: Tom Kaye, IAE Executive Director
Discover the luminous golden paintbrush, once a plentiful Willamette Valley wildflower, and hear about IAE’s efforts to restore the species to the Pacific Northwest. Family friendly, meet at the Finley NWR, Woodpecker Loop Trailhead. No RSVP needed.

Join IAE staff and help weed and maintain rare and endangered plants near Independence, OR, as part of Natural Areas Week! Meet them at IAE Corvallis, and caravan up to the farm, or meet them there. RSVP to michelw@appliedeco.org
