Data Steward Community of Practice
Project Description
They go by many titles, but throughout the Pacific Northwest specialists are organizing and stewarding the life cycle of aquatic monitoring data. These data professionals collectively hold a wealth of experience and knowledge about the skill and art needed to support a healthy data management environment. PNAMP seeks to support the community of aquatic data professionals and plans in the future to provide a number of services and/or tools for this community including an online forum to enhance communication, online access to resources on data management topics, and potentially a bimonthly community of practice webinar with presentations on current data management and sharing issues.
Project Team
This ongoing project is led by the PNAMP Information Management Liaison, Kathryn Thomas.
